Wednesday Sermon: the week of Trinity Sunday
Father Lee on remembering 4th century Christian ascetic Melania the Elder, who founded two of the early monastic communities. Her ideas were that we should reject all worldly comforts because they lead you astray from God. Today we celebrate her belief that we might be faithful representative of Christ’s love and grace in the world today through a commitment to community.
