Father Lee delivers an Independence Day Sermon recalling the words of the Declaration that all men are created equal and how our history has been a struggle to live up to those words. We as individuals struggle with the follow through of our own bold words or strong intentions. It takes a commitment to be a part of a community that calls you to live a life that is larger than yourself. How are we living into our Baptismal pledge and do we put it into action publicly, “will you strive for justice and peace among all people and respect the dignity of every person.”
